Apart from the fact that 'Reach for the Stars' is a perfect example of everything I love about computer music, the whole album is just an absolute belter of a piece of work. The soaring pitch-bent melodies and arpeggios, the basslines that make me want to dig out Thunderforce IV and the fact that (I don't say this lightly) some of the arrangements and progressions remind me heavily of Tim Follin. An utterly exceptional piece of work. Pure gold. Remote_
Found out about this man through a chiptune set on youtube where he was using two gameboys. Loved him ever since. Probably my favorite chiptune artist. Scottkole
The new studio album from festival favorites Dub Pistols is a party-starting smorgasbord of dub, reggae, dancehall, ska, and DnB. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 13, 2023
Frenzied jungle beats clash with slackened reggae and ska grooves on the guest-filled latest from London's Dub Pistols. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 18, 2020
Captured that retro sound not only through wringing an incredible amount of juice from a Gameboy, but also by getting those eclectic 8-bit melodies just right. It'll keep your head bopping for most of the day. Lachlan Hessing
